Just one word: yum. Oh, and a statement: I want those now. I want to wear them with a minidress or a tunic and short short shorts and daze the dancefloor and have fairies showering me with stardust. And I want to live all my summer nights in them (the shoes). From the moment I saw them sitting quietly on the glass shelf at Harvey Nichols I knew they were the ones (you know, the top dreamy item on my wish list). You might also spot them in a more sandal-like version, with a thinner heel and a strap just above the ankle but I'd say you go with the ones pictured (especially if you don't have long and thin legs and if you can't manage stilettos). They are the perfect antidote to all those comfortable chunky clogs we are already seeing everywhere. No no, don't get me wrong. I might hate the word comfortable anywhere near a fashion post, but I do like the whole clog trend and its youthful, sporty, laid-back feel. But this time I will not be following. I prefer pain, blisters and sparkles on my feet. So yeah, yum.
