and so it begins

For me, it's officially summer. Yeah, I do know that back home (Greece, that is) people are already swimming, tanning, wearing ridiculously short skirts and doing all the summery stuff that Londoners can't even dream of, but hey, it's summer anyway.

So, summer AND a new blog. Well, actually just a blog, since it's my first attempt to give a dido point of view on cyberspace - apart from some statuses on Facebook, but Facebook has become kinda banal imho, so it doesn't really count. If you have too much time on your hands and follow wannabe surreal blogs like this one, then you know what you are going to be reading : fashion stuff from my point of view (I'm pretty sure you probably never read that before), fashion news, funny and surreal stories of me and my friends partyanimaling, laughing and mocking other people as well as life between London and Athens.

Now that I come to think of it, I really have no idea why I am starting a blog. Maybe I got inspired by other bloggers, or maybe I like the idea of me writing junk on my mac all day. More importantly though it's that I just can't bare the face of everyone in my entourage when I talk non-stoppingly about fashion, life and everything in between, so I needed to put it in web-writing. And whoever is surreal enough to follow me, I love you - even though I don't really like to use the "L" word. What I do like (this is kind of the part where I introduce myself) is creating parallel universes where everything is completely different than it really is, no matter how much I enjoy everything that surrounds me. I am also a fashion lover, an avid shopper, a vegetarian and a cataholic. I would really like to add here that I am a blogger, but really, that's up to you to say.

I would love to be wearing those right now (yes, even with pyjama shorts, they are THAT versatile in my eyes), but since I can't (because I don't have them) I 'll let my blog wear them on its first night out.
